1Who we are
OsaniRank operates the OsaniRank SaaS platform, web dashboard tools, and the official Google Chrome Extension. For data protection and international GDPR compliance, OsaniRank acts as the data controller of your account information.
2What we collect
We collect minimal, necessary data required to authenticate and deliver our search intelligence service:
- Account & Authentication Data: Your name and verified email address upon registration.
- Credentials: OsaniRank uses sign-in with Google only — we never see or store your password. Your session is held in secure tokens bound to your account.
- Billing Information: Paid plans are activated manually by our team after you contact us. OsaniRank never collects, processes or stores your card or banking details.
3Extension & Google Search Data
The OsaniRank Chrome Extension operates strictly on Google Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs) and target URLs when requested:
- The search query keyword is sent securely to our API Gateway to fetch volume, CPC, and competition metrics.
- The domain names appearing in search results are analyzed to return live Ahrefs DR and Moz DA badges.
- Zero History Tracking: The extension never tracks your browsing history across unrelated websites, never logs non-SERP URLs, and never sells user telemetry to advertising brokers.
4Search Console Data & Limited Use
With your explicit permission, the OsaniRank extension can connect to your Google Search Console account (read-only) to show your own sites' clicks, impressions and rankings inside the extension. This access is strictly read-only — OsaniRank cannot change anything in your Search Console account.
OsaniRank's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Your Search Console data is used only to display it back to you inside the product. It is never sold, never used for advertising, never shared with third parties for any other purpose, and no person at OsaniRank reads it — except with your consent, for security investigation, or where the law requires it.
You can disconnect Search Console at any time from the extension's Search Console tab or from your Google account's third-party access page. Disconnecting stops all further access immediately.
5Incognito & 24h Temporary Caching
Every dashboard tool provides privacy controls. When search history saving is toggled off, your research queries are never stored in permanent database tables. Instead, ownership is cached in temporary in-memory edge keys for 24 hours so you can inspect your active results, after which data expires automatically.
6Security & DPoP Request Signing
Chrome extension requests are secured with Demonstrating Proof-of-Possession (DPoP) cryptographic signing. The background service worker generates an ECDSA P-256 keypair in your browser's IndexedDB and cryptographically signs each request, preventing unauthorized parties from intercepting or impersonating your API token.
8Your Rights & Data Deletion
You maintain complete ownership of your data. You may export your research history, update your preferences, or permanently delete your account and all associated query logs directly from your user dashboard under Settings > Delete Account.
